There are vital moments in every wedding when children could get a little bored and restless, such as during long speeches or photo sessions. The imagination workshopis the perfect answer. We can run a craft session to keep the children happy while the adults can relax. Choose any of our party activities or they could even work together to create a wedding collage, to celebrate your special day. A good night out – celebrate and create!

Hen nights, baby showers, 21st and 40th birthday parties and much more… a creative party is a great and different way to socialise and celebrate too! Bring wine and nibbles with you to our Edinburgh workshop or let us come to you.

Here are some ideas for ways to celebrate:
• Kate invited her friends to the workshop to start her 40th celebrations. They all created their own silk painting before going on the dinner at one of the many restaurants nearby.
• A group of pals celebrated the birth of a new baby by making a star mobile and alphabet photo frame.
• 19 ‘hens’ celebrated with the bride to be by making a charm bracelet each and decorating a tray and coaster set as a gift for the couple.

Fairs, fetes and family fun days

Wherever you’re running your event, The imagination workshop can bring an extra special dimension. Here are some ideas to get you started…

Giant collage: In this group activity, everyone can contribute to making a big collage to commemorate the event or the place.
Decorate an animal: Use our fab and funky range of decorative papers to decorate a paper mache animal.
Felt a square: Felting is an ancient art – and you realise that’s no surprise when everyone enjoys gets stuck into creating their own felt square. It involves lots of colourful wool and soap bubbles! Young and old alike love felting.
