Children and adult workshops – October to December 2008

Big and little people will keep busy and happy with our range of workshops for the new term. They’re all hugely satisfying and enormously enjoyable, and appropriate for different ages, as we show below.

The drill’s the same for every workshop. Places are limited so please contact us and book first, and then come along in time for the class. Costs include all materials. There is a lot here so please keep scrolling - adult classes at the bottom! Remember if you can’t make it along to a workshop, we are also open for
drop in sessions.
We will also be running Christmas workshops in Santas Igloo Village, Princes Street Gardens between 13 & 23 December.

Halloween Spookiness
Age 5+, Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 October
4 – 5pm 
Get ready for some great trick or treating by joining in one of our spooky halloween mask making workshops. Total cost £7 per workshop.

Adult Class – Beading for Beginners – Charm Bracelets
Tuesday 11 Nov, 10.30 – 12.30
Wednesday 12 Nov, 7 – 9pm
Learn how to make P loops, wrapped loops, open and close jump rings and go home with a fantastic silver plated charm bracelet. Easy for beginners and loads of fun! Total cost £15 per workshop. Note cost includes all beads and materials.

Adult Class – Beading for Beginners – Bead & Wire Necklace
Tuesday 18 Nov, 10.30 – 12.30
Wednesday 19 Nov, 7 – 9pm
Learn how to space beads on wire, attached necklace ends, add extension chains and go home with a lovely glass bead and wire necklace. Easy for beginners and loads of fun! Total cost £15 per workshop. Note cost includes all beads and materials.

Adult Class – Silk Painting
Wednesday 5 Nov, 10.00 – 12.30
Learn the basic techniques of silk painting, and go home with a picture painted on silk PLUS a beautiful painted silk cushion cover. Total cost £15 per workshop.

Adult Class – Felting
Thursday 30 Oct PLUS Thursday 6 Oct, 7 – 9pm
Learn how to felt in the first week and then turn your felt into some fun accessories in the second week. Total cost £15 per workshop.

Christmas Craft Open Nights
Come along and make Christmas presents and decorations, with a free glass of Fizz.
Friday 12th and Tuesday 16th December between 5.30 and 9.30pm. Booking required.

Edinburgh's Christmas - Christmas Decorations
We will be in Santa's Igloo Village, Princes Street Gardens from 13 -23 December. Come along and decorate your very own Christmas ornaments. Great fun for all the family! £3 per ornament.
